| Preferred for both acute and chronic instability of the ankle. It is 8.7" in length and is intended for adults and young adults who are 5'2" and under. Key Benefits: Resists inversion more than taping, yet normal flexion is virtually unrestricted. Graduated, pulsating compression "milks away" swelling and edema. Aircells are pre-inflated, rarely require adjustment. Anatomically contoured shells conform closely to the ankle with minimal bulk in the shoe. Comfort and security encourage early return to function. Indications: Acute ankle sprain, stable malleolar fractures, post ORIF, distal tib/fib stress fractures, hemiparesis, hemiplegia. |
