Is it safe to
use my credit card?
Absolutely. Medichest is built on the ShopSite & PayFlow systems, which use
advanced security measures including SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). And all account
information submitted to us is safely isolated from unauthorized Internet
access. Nevertheless, if you prefer, we also offer you the option of submitting

Does Sales Tax Apply?
Sales Tax currently applies only to residents of
North Carolina, on a limited number of items, and not to any other U.S. State.
Application of Sales Tax is, of course, subject to change, and Medichest will
apply Sales Tax in accordance with amended federal and State laws. For

How can I pay for
my order?
We accept all major
credit and debit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and
Discover. Actual charges are not applied until your is shipped.
How much
will my shipping charges be?
During the order process, you will be given a list of different shipping
methods. You choose which method best meets your needs. Shipping charges are
based upon total package weight, shipping method, and the zone to which the
package is shipped. The total cost of goods and the cost of shipping are clearly
displayed when you choose your shipping method and enter your zip code, before
you provide any payment information. Additionally, most U.S. orders qualify for
Free Standard Shipping. For more information, please read

We do not charge any additional fees for
backordered items unless you change the quantity, delivery method or delivery
address. In rare cases, when the cost for shipping your backorder exceeds the
price you originally paid, we will charge you a nominal shipping fee. This
applies to domestic, U.S. orders. For international shipping information, please

When will I get my
order?
We ship quickly. Most
orders leave our facilities within 24 to 36 hours of placement, Monday through
Friday. Time-in-Transit for most "ground service" packages including UPS Ground
and Priority Mail is 2 to 5 business days depending upon the delivery location.
UPS Ground Maps will provide a more precise timeframe for delivery to your
destination. "On-Time" services including UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS 3 Day Air are
guaranteed for delivery on the second business day and third business day,
respectively, once they leave our facility. Please note that choosing an on-time
shipping service does not effect when your package leaves Medichest; it only
effects the time in transit once the shipper has accepted the package. UPS 2nd
Day and UPS 3 Day service "count" business days only. They do not include
weekends or holidays as transit or delivery times. Although rare, uncontrollable
events including weather may affect shipping and delivery times. Medichest is

How do I use product information and images? Are they current?
Wow. Do we live in a world of change, or what?
Medichest updates product images and Site content constantly, and these updates
are issued to the site every day. We maintain more than 90% accuracy across the
board -- and that's an extremely high rate. But it's still not perfect:
Sometimes a product will change before the corresponding image or description
does.
Before you put on the brakes, please be aware that this does not
effect or apply to 99% of orders. BUT, if you are aware or think that a
product or brand may have changed it's size, name, formula or other element; or
if you are looking for an "old" version of a product, please be aware that
medichest ships only currently available stock. That means the newest version
will be the item that ships. If you have a question about "newer"
versus "older" versions or sizes of a product, please call, email, write or fax
us at any time. As a general rule of thumb, though, you should expect that the
newest, most current versions of products are what's in stock, and what will
ship.
We've specified this
information here so that you know exactly how the Site works, with no unexpected
surprises. Medichest may be a virtual store, but we still operate within
the very real world, and all the limits thereof.
Always remember, product descriptions and images presented on the Site are
for representational use only and do not constitute or substitute for medical
information from your healthcare or medical professional. You should confirm any
information of importance to you on the package, and should always follow
product instructions and ask your healthcare professional about questions
specific to your individual circumstances.
Medichest makes no guarantee that
any given product image or description will always match the manufacturer's most
current changes. By placing an order on the Site, you are acknowledging that you
understand and agree to these considerations. For more complete information,

What about out
of stock items?
We update
stock status daily, and if an item is out of stock at the time of the update, it
will be marked out of stock. You can order out of stock items, and you will not be charged
for these item(s) until they are shipped. Most backorders last only 2 to 3
business days. If your order contains a mix of in-stock and out-of-stock
merchandise, the in-stock items will be shipped immediately; the out-of-stock
item(s) will be shipped upon receipt into our warehouse. If you later decide not
to wait for a backorder, you should advise us via email that you wish to cancel
that item. Otherwise, we will hold your order open, and ship the product(s) upon
availability for up to 120 business days from original order placement. After
such time, the backorder will be cancelled unless you request it remain open. Manufacturers may choose to
discontinue a product or products at any time without notification. In this
case, your shipping fees will be adjusted according to our published schedule,
and the balance of your order shipped.
What is your policy on product substitutions?
Medichest does not substitute brand name products for other
brands. However, generic products may come from any one of several vendors. When
you order generic(s), you are ordering and will receive the active ingredient in
the strength and size indicated on our site from one or more of the
manufacturers with which we contract, based on availability. No specific
manufacturer is guaranteed for generic items; nor are specific formulas beyond
the active ingredient and strength. Generic products meet the U.S. FDA
guidelines for "A/B rated" comparisons to those of the Brand name alternative.
How do I cancel or make changes to my order?
If you wish to cancel or makes changes to a newly placed order, you should do so within two hours of placement. We may not be able to meet requests made after that time. Please contact Medichest at sales@medichest.com or call customer service directly at 800-714-8875. Emails sent to other email addresses are not valid for cancellation. Once an order has entered processing procedures, it cannot be cancelled or changed.
If you wish to make changes to a back-ordered item or order, please email us at sales@medichest.com and be sure to include your name, the order number and any changes you would like to make. Please be as specific as possible when requesting item changes. We will make ever attempt to accommodate your request. We will update you regarding your request via email or phone as quickly as possible, generally within 2 business day.
What is your
Privacy Policy?
We respect
your privacy and protect your personal information. We use state-of-the-art
encryption to protect any and all personal information you submit. We do not
sell, trade, or rent your specific personal information to others for any use
beyond completion of your order. For example, to complete your order, we must
provide limited information including delivery name and address to the shipper

How do I track my
order?
When you order has
been shipped, you will receive an email from UPS or The Postal Service advising
you of your tracking number and instructions or links directly to the carrier's

offering the best possible prices. We work on margins much lower than some other
sites - that's why you don't see "50% or 60% or 70% Off" here: We don't charge
that much to begin with. We pass manufacturer incentives to you wherever

are able to negotiate a special price. We don't usually scream about "suggested

Business Accounts
Medichest services all types of
businesses, from hospitals and doctors' offices to pro shops and tattoo parlors.
Please note that business orders and accounts do require minimum purchases that
are generally much greater in terms of quantity or dollars than most individuals
would need. Valid tax IDs and additional information are also required, and
special orders, contract orders and business to business orders are not
