One of the main problems when treating poison ivy is reoccurrences or reinfections and most times this is caused by not completely removing the Urushiol (the toxin that causes poison ivy) from your skin or your environs. Creams and Scrubs work on small areas, but Ivy Dry Soap is made to treat larger areas and as a total body wash. You can even use the soap to wash your clothes, pets and tools. The goal is to remove Urushiol from your body and your surrounding as quickly as possible. IVY-DRY® SOAP contains the same technology and ingredients as IVY-DRY® SCRUB but in a more convenient form. Where SCRUB is meant for smaller areas, IVY-DRY® SOAP is a complete body wash. Many people recontaminate themselves by touching the items that initially came in contact with the poison ivy (clothes, tools, pets, etc.). By washing your entire body and these objects thoroughly, you will reduce the chance of missing an area that hasn't manifested yet. |
