| Penetrating moist heat for deep, temporary pain relief. No water needed - automatically produces its own moisture. For treatment of back pain, arthritis and muscle spasms. Includes a special flannel cover that retains moisture for deep tissue therapy.
The Thermophore® Hot Pack is more effective than other electric heating pads on the market because it delivers very intense, moist heat. Hot pack therapy expands the size of the blood vessels, increasing blood flow. For hot therapy to be effective, the temperature must be very high and yet not burn the patient. The temperature of the hot pack is controlled by the patient with a momentary switch that can be turned off and on to maintain the highest temperature possible.
