VSL#3 is a medical food for the dietary management of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC), an ileal pouch (IP), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Provides probiotic bacteria to help protect the gastrointestinal tract. VSL#3 works by colonizing the GI tract with optimal quantities and types of probiotic bacteria.
